E-zines are electronic newsletters sent by e-mail to a list of people who have chosen to subscribe to them. They are probably the most popular internet marketing technique at present. Some ezines are little more than a paragraph in length.
Get people to subscribe to your own ezine by offering them something for free. This is a great way of building a mailing list. Let them opt-out at any time, and never handout your list. But your ezine must deliver some ongoing benefit, or else they will unsubscribe.
Advertise in other people's ezines. The bigger the circulation, and the more targetted, the better your results (although usually dearer). Often you can do an adswap with another ezine owner, for free.

There are many ezines that will publish your ad if you subscribe to them. Subscribeme.net has gathered many of them together into a system where you may submit your ad every three months. You should have a dedicated email address for this program.
If you send out your ezine via email, be aware many ISPs may filter it. Check your content for trigger words at EzineCheck and also at SpamCheck
